Me Playing a Jig,, mixed with Fairy Stories, I think it was Séamus Ennis, who said he got it from one of the '' Little People '' if he gave over his Gold Ring -- '' And he did , and here's the tune '' -- lol....

The Tinker's Son - Norwell

Post by Madra Rua on Fri Aug 13, 2010 6:12 am

The Tinker's Son
707 Main Street
Norwell, MA, 02061
(781)-561-7361
Directions

Sundays 11 am - 2pm
Led by Skip Toomey

I just visited the Tinker's Son today(February 14, 2010). The place was rocking, and the food (Sunday brunch buffet and menu items) was good. The place was packed, and our server said it's like this every Sunday.

The pub is split into three dining areas, and if you want a seat in the same room as the musicians, definitely call ahead and reserve a table. You can still hear the music in the other rooms, but it's more fun where you can see the musicians too.

I spoke to Skip, and it IS an Open Session - players are welcome to join in. The session I saw there were 2 boxes, a guitar, a fiddle and 2 bodhráns. Skip said usually there is another fiddler, but he's away on holidays.
